This stamp set is avaliable in the new autumn/winter mini. There was so many this time to choose from but i hum and harrred about this one. And very glad i got it, it is very easy to work with and can create many different cards. Using the inscription makes for a beautiful background and i love the little ink spots. Love it Love it. Here is just one card created today using the set and a colour i have not played with yet cajun craze (nice and earthy)

Hello, this card is based on the fantastic inkspirations challange to have a go with the sketch challange pop over to http://www.cindymajor.typepad.com/. Ihave decided to give the lovely bareback stamp by stampin up a whirl, with my new copic markers.

BOX CLASS SATURDAY

This lovely box set will be the class for this saturdays 3d box class. I have used the all boxed up template by PTI. This box can fit up to six cards and is lovely displayed in a cover and finished with a ribbon bow. Of course i could'nt help myself with my box to add a little glimmermist in to it.

Due to popular demand i am looking at runnung this in the evening as well from 7pm, if you are interested please just phone or email to make a booking as spots are filling fast. STAMP CLASS SCRAP'S

I held a stamp class last night and thank you to all the lovely ladies who attended, all the more all the merrier. Well in this class we made a masculine card using the S/U square punch 1 3/8, and there was a little cardstock left over after punching crazy.

And the girls spent all night comenting on how you could use a lot of these bits for many thing eg; photo frame etc. But however i decided i can get another card out of this an here we go......

MATERIALS USED

STAMPS- teeny tiny sentiments, disc; sense of time and sanded.

INK- Basic grey, real red.

CARDSTOCK- Basic grey, w/white and real red.

MISC- 1 3/8 square punch, word window punch, lots of tags die cut and cuttlebug embossing folder tiny mosaic.

Hi, it has been very hectic this week with Noah and work but, i now have those pics of the card class to share with you.This class is on Monday 21st June, ther is still a few openings avaliable.

I have decided to throw a masculine card in there as i know it is hard to make or buy those boys a card. And the femine card if thanks to valitas designs and folds, this one is quite simple although it may look like it has much detail. All these cards are fun to make with a little of glimmemist in there with the flower. After giving glimmermist a go it is addictive and soo much fun.

Erin Crowther is hosting another SIDS AND KIDS foundraiser night. We did this fantstic night last year and had great success with raising $3200 for this charity. Hi everyone i have given it go and trying Makeesha byl's sketch challenge.

This card is done with Glimmermisting on the back and some of the patterned paper. I just went to a class the other night of glimmer mist, and had a ball. It is addictive and soooo much fun there is so many options for colour coordination or just to add sparkle to a card.

Stamps- S/U friendly words roller, Le Chateau.
Ink- S/U choc chip, shara sand and staz on black.

The NEW two step bird punch by stampin up, is fantatic. i love punch's so every time there is a new punch released i get very excited specially if there is a punch and stamp combo even better.

These little birdy cards are 3" x 3" great little gift cards. I have used the new in colour Rich Razzelberry cardstock pocka dot stamp with craft white ink and put the crimper to add texture for the background to go into my medium cello bags.

C/stock; rich razzelberry, soft suede, melon mambo, borcade blue and w/white

This card is using the two step bird punh with the branchs and wings only. The wings are the flower's petals.

LAUNCH NIGHT CARDS

These are the three project the lovely ladies did on the night. Thank you, to all who attended i know i enjoyed the night and i hope you did to.
This card here is using the new Medallion, this is a great all round stamp for weddings, birthday, masculine cards. I have used versamark for the stamp then stamp it onto the cardstock brocade blue, using the pastal chalks with a cotton bud, lightly rubbing over the ink. Used Brocade blue and Night of Navey for the chalks, the harder you press the darker the inage will show. This is a easy technique but effective.

This card we used the XL two step bird punch a new slim line punch its great for storage. Background is in Gable Green cardstock with the new perfect polka dots embossing folder (love it) then using using scollop punch on the new in clour Melon Mambo. the circle is 2" using circle sissor plus, scollops behind the circle are done by cutting two circle scollops and punching them in the middle with the 3/4 circl punch. Then from the inside of the circle cut, not all the way only half, every second scollop and on the last cut all the way through. Work this around the back of the circle sticking it down as you go. Last of all but it is hard to see in this picture but we made the bird a suede look by using the bone floder over the cardstock until the cardstock starts to part, peeling the two apart gives you a suede effect.(thanks to Dawns stamping thoughts) i will show a demo of this later on.

This one using the new Pillow Box die cut, oh i can make so many little box now for little choc gifts, wish this was avaliable when i had my wedding. we cut the pillow boxs then rolled them with the new Very Vintage roller Jumbo, sentiments are using the Sentiments Teeny Tiny. This goes great with the word window punch. The flower is using 1 3/8, 1 1/4, 1 and 3/4 circle punchs and a bling brad. ALL THESE NEW PRODUCTS ARE FOUND IN THE NEW MINI CATALOGUE APRIL - AUGUST 2010.

60 YEARS

On the other weekend i went to alovely 60th anniversary, what an inspiration 60 years together and still in love. I could'nt decide what to get them so i though nothing better than something hand made. So i made a beyond the page 60 album, it turn out to be a hit, also got everyone there to sign in it so they could remember all the family and friends who love them.

QUICK AND EASY

I decided to make my mother's group mothers a few little quick gifts. These cuite little sunny boys are made out of 6 x 6 dsp out of S/U cat in the hostess level one, has come in handy the little pad. I used my slot punch for the tops so i put ribbon through to do them up. The cards i made are 4x4, using the spotlight on Christmas set.

Well better late than never i just wanted to show you a few of the christmas cards i worked on, i found the Snow swirled stamp set to be fantastic. Next in line would have to be the Spotlight on Christmas set.

Masculine Cards

So i have been working on a few, as the new year draws very close birthdays will start, and we tend to find the male card a little harder to do than the female or kids cards.Here i also used this set for a christams card as well.

Materials used-
Stamps- Trendy Trees and Birthday Wish (mini spring cat 09) and sanded.
Cardstock- going grey, baja breeze and w/white
Ink- going grey, kiwi kiss and choc chip

This card i cased from my swaps at stampin up regionals. The card i got was very similar with the same layout and stamp set. To make it christmas i added ball balls in the trees, using versa mark ink and silver embossing powder.
Materials used-
Stamps- trendy trees and (best yet hostess set, very well used set this one.)
Ink- real red, alway artichoke and choc chip
Cardstock- real red, always artichoke and ivory naturals
Access- ribbon not s/u, stampamig and crop a dile.

Sydney Regionals

In the recent couple of weeks or more lol, i have been very busy with my cards and also my beautiful little boy who is growing very quickly. He's going to love his 1st christmas.

SIDS AND KIDS FUNDRAISER

WOW. We raised over $3000 for the night, these funds will go to sids and kids, and help more familys that need this wonderful service in times of despair. The loss of a baby or child, can be deversating it not only can effect the parents but also the grandparents, family and even a community.

I know when i lost my beautiful baby Ashley, I found sids and kids to be there when needed.

Thanks to all the ladies who attended the night and help to achieve this. Hope all of you had fun, I know i definitely enjoyed the night ( plus 1st time away from my newbaby, and still enjoyed myself ). Plus a big thanks to the girls of our stampin up team.

Dust dust is it on it's way back?

This was a look at 6.30am at my place of the morning of the dust storm. It was so thick and stayed this way until 1pm. I have an old little house built approx 1930's, so i now have dust every where in the place been cleaning since it happened, but i have prepared tonight for tomorrow in case we have the same dusting experiance........

WELCOME LITTLE NOAH

Since my last entry to my blog, i have had a baby. Yes I was aware that I was pregnant, 37weeks to be exact. On 3rd September 2009, I went in for a c-section to have my little man. Noah Ashley, 2580gms and 45cm length. Only a little boy, but all the more precious to us. Noah is little brother to Ashley, who we lost last year at 36 weeks, stillborn.

So on this note. My upline of stampin' up! and the team are doing a fundraiser for SIDS and KIDS. This will be on 16th October 2009, Gosford. $10.00 entry and make what ever card you would lik, all paper, inks and stamps supplyed for you to do your project. There will also be raffles, make and take stands, comptetion for baby card and much much more. I will be updating this, as soon as i know exactly all the details of where, time?
